5 Delicious Fall Recipes for Gameday

It's getting cooler outside and college football is being played (thankfully!), so it's time to start queuing up all your favorite gameday snacks and dinners.  We've rounded up some of our favorites, and would love to see a few of yours!

Tex-Mex Sweet Potato Skillet

We made this recipe at our house for dinner on a workday and it was easy, delicious and filling.  Most of the work is just in chopping up the sweet potatoes, onions and pepper.  When we made it, we added some kielbasa sausage and cooked that first before proceeding with the rest of the recipe.  Eat it with a few chips and you have a delicious and veggie packed meal for a Fall day!

Instant Pot Boiled Peanuts

Growing up, there was a peanut stand on the road we lived on.  I grew up in a little neighborhood off a very historic two lane road in Charleston, and Timbo's boiled peanuts was (still is) a fixture on that little highway.  I remember many times being asked to stop and grab some on my way home once I could drive.

If you're not so lucky as to have someone cooking up delicious boiled peanuts near you, these instant pot boiled peanuts are the way to go!

Crockpot Turkey Chili

A list of fall gameday recipes would be incomplete without a chili recipe, right?  This one is my favorite easy, regular ole chili recipe.  I have a printout of it in my recipe binder from several years ago as a matter of fact and had to go find it on the internet again!

I actually make it with beef more often than I make it with turkey and it's just as delicious.

Psst...I love making it with my favorite cornbread recipe too.

Pumpkin Bread

Obviously this is another fall favorite, but to be honest, I would eat a pumpkin muffin every day of the year.  This recipe is such a great one for a delicious and easy pumpkin bread!

Apple Crisp

Nothing makes your house smell more fall-like than an apple crisp in the oven.  Windows open, fireplace going, apple crisp in the oven.  YES PLEASE.  And this is a fabulous recipe to use...
